Harriet House

Harriet House is a Montessori Nursery School for boys and girls aged 12 months to 5 years old.

Set in The Walled Garden, surrounded by the countryside of the Yattendon Estate we have exceptional outside space and a calm learning environment.

The Montessori ethos is applied throughout the school. In practice at Harriet House this means that we provide the children with the tools, opportunity, space and freedom to try new things and make their own choices, building on their capacity to learn when given the materials and independence to do so at their own pace.

Our website will give you an insight into the ethos of the school and how we inspire your child to explore their environment, build self-esteem and gain confidence, however only a visit will allow you to appreciate how unique Harriet House really is.

When you join Harriet House, you may arrive as strangers, but you will leave as friends.
